"Sing me a song" is all about the feeling of quiet retreat, when you want to fall into that place where you feel at peace but also inspired. Layers of textured acrylics build the depth whilst different mediums have varied the consistency of the paint. Some colours appear to flow over and under and others it sit high and rigid above the under layers. Subtle shadows and little hints of colour are buried deep beneath the surface strokes. It will draw you in and from time to time you may see something new.
