This piece is one of my story paintings. Hidden in these markings are little moments of time, places we have walked, land we have seen from above, holidays that hold memories. Times that we have been alone or otherwise shared together, around tables with family or friends. Paths that we have followed, physically or metaphorically. Markings that maybe resemble plants, buildings or objects, or otherwise just shapes that conjurer a memory from that special day. I think we all say that at least once in our lives if not many times, "That was just the best day".
