Wool has good properties that mean you don't have to wash as often, which is good for the environment and climate. The wool contains natural fats and is in itself dirt-repellent. Often air the blanket but rarely wash. It is best to hang out your wool blanket on a day when the weather is damp. Tip! If you want to freshen up your wool blanket, hang it out and air it one day when it's damp outside. You can also lay out your wool blanket in clean snow and brush lightly.

- Feel free to wash in the machine, but always choose the wool programme.
- Use detergent specially adapted for wool.
-Spin at a low speed, max 800. This also applies if you have washed by hand.
