The raffia cover is handwoven in Madagascar by Tanora, a generations-owned atelier dedicated to preserving the cultural tradition and artistry of raffia crocheting.

Care:
All Maison Balzac glassware is dishwasher safe!
Remove the raffia cover before washing. If washing by hand, gently use a soft bristle brush or sponge. Avoid using strong alkali soaps, as these may damage the glass. Take care not to bump glassware against hard surfaces or other vessels during cleaning.
Raffia Care:
Raffia is water-resistant; it can be wet without changing the integrity of the fibre. With a bit of gentleness, you can hand-wash it using mild detergent or soap. Please avoid any harsh cleaners as they may stain the raffia and cause discolouration. Rinse well under clear water and always allow to air-dry thoroughly. Sometimes, just a quick spot clean using a damp cloth will suffice, then allow to air dry thoroughly.
