Orchid Bowl | Shell Pink | Medium

Etienne stocks a large collection of Dinosaur Designs, for both the novice Dinosaur Designs fan and the collector of timeless pieces.

The Medium Orchid Bowl was designed in collaboration with Saskia Havekes of Grandiflora — its generous depth and broad surface originally conceived to house three potted orchids. Equally at home as a fruit bowl or salad bowl, it is a true functional piece with a distinctly sculptural presence at the table. In Shell Pink, the resin takes on a delicate translucent blush — soft baby pink and off-white swirls in a duotone cast, quiet and luminous.

Dimensions
Height: 12cm
Width: 26cm
Length: 26cm

Composition
Handcrafted resin

Care
Suitable for cold food only. Hand wash in warm water. Resin may appear frosted after washing; restore sheen by rubbing with a drop of cooking oil. Strong and durable but should be treated like ceramic — not shock-absorbent and can break if dropped or knocked against a hard surface. Not fire resistant; do not use in an oven, microwave, or as a candleholder or ashtray.

All Dinosaur Designs resin pieces are crafted with care in the Sydney studio, on the East coast of Australia. Each piece may vary in size, casting and texture as this reflects the individual and handmade nature of the pieces and should be embraced.
