Girardino Water Jug

Founded by Alexandra Heard and Heleena Trahanas, Alex and Trahanas is a lifestyle project and design studio born from a deep love for the staggering beauty of Mediterranean summer. Sunlit terraces, seaside trattorias and tavernas, long lunches in linen with delicious food and wine — all shared with friends and family — form the heart of their world.

Textured in a rich sea-green glaze, the Giardino jug takes its cues from the garden as much as the table, equally at home hydrating guests through a long lunch or holding a loose gathering of blooms on the kitchen bench. Hand-painted by artisans in Puglia, its generous two-litre capacity and confident silhouette make it a quiet centrepiece in its own right. Every jug carries its own subtle variations in glaze and brushwork.
