Foglia Serving Bowl

Founded by Alexandra Heard and Heleena Trahanas, Alex and Trahanas is a lifestyle project and design studio born from a deep love for the staggering beauty of Mediterranean summer. Sunlit terraces, seaside trattorias and tavernas, long lunches in linen with delicious food and wine — all shared with friends and family — form the heart of their world.

Wide and shallow, the Foglia bowl takes its sea-green and cream palette from a vibrant Sicilian summer, built to hold a generous salad, a spread of canapés or a shared main at the centre of the table. Hand-painted by artisans in Puglia, its broad, easy form makes it a natural gathering point for long, relaxed meals. Each bowl carries its own subtle variations in glaze and brushwork, the mark of a piece made entirely by hand.
