Founded by Alexandra Heard and Heleena Trahanas, Alex and Trahanas is a lifestyle project and design studio born from a deep love for the staggering beauty of Mediterranean summer. Sunlit terraces, seaside trattorias and tavernas, long lunches in linen with delicious food and wine — all shared with friends and family — form the heart of their world.

Playful and expressive, the Polka Face plate wears a hand-painted portrait in a warm Mediterranean palette of green, navy and yellow, bringing instant personality to the table. Hand-painted by artisans in Puglia, it moves easily from aperitivo plate to dessert stand to cake centrepiece — and looks just as at home mounted on a wall between gatherings. Its expressive glaze and brushwork make every plate entirely its own.
