Founded by Alexandra Heard and Heleena Trahanas, Alex and Trahanas is a lifestyle project and design studio born from a deep love for the staggering beauty of Mediterranean summer. Sunlit terraces, seaside trattorias and tavernas, long lunches in linen with delicious food and wine — all shared with friends and family — form the heart of their world.

Painted with the sun-bright citrus of Amalfi's lemon groves, this oval platter turns even the simplest spread into something worth lingering over. Hand-shaped and hand-painted by artisans in Puglia, its glossy glaze and generous oval form are built for fresh pasta, seafood or a pile of ripe fruit at the centre of the table. Each piece carries its own small variations in glaze and brushwork — proof of the hand behind it.
