Founded by Alexandra Heard and Heleena Trahanas, Alex and Trahanas is a lifestyle project and design studio born from a deep love for the staggering beauty of Mediterranean summer. Sunlit terraces, seaside trattorias and tavernas, long lunches in linen with delicious food and wine — all shared with friends and family — form the heart of their world.

Bright with the citrus hues of roadside fruit stalls along the Italian coast, the Arancia platter brings a burst of colour to long, sun-drenched lunches. Hand-painted by artisans in Puglia, its oval form suits everything from fresh pasta and salads to a generous pile of seasonal fruit, doubling as a decorative piece when not in use. Every platter is one of a kind, its glaze and brushwork shaped entirely by hand.
