Desert Star Traders is a small Australian design-led gift brand making illustrated postcard soaps that are wildly joyful, political and spirit-filled — the creation of artists, designers and self-described cowgirls who have driven countless corrugated desert roads to bring Australian stories to life.

A brown snake takes centre stage on this postcard, a tongue-in-cheek salute to the Australian outback and its most notorious residents. Silky smooth and blended with Australian almond oil, shea butter and vitamin E, the bar has a gentle, creamy scent and, the brand is quick to point out, contains no actual snake venom.
