Branch Vase | Pool | Medium

Designed by Stephen Ormandy, the Medium Branch Vase is one of Dinosaur Designs' most distinctive sculptural objects. Its double-opening form — twin vessels joined in a continuous, branching mass — sits between functional vase and standalone artwork. In Pool, the resin carries the serene, translucent quality of water lit from within; cool blue-green tones that shift from clear to opaque through its depth.

Handcrafted in the Dinosaur Designs Sydney studio, each Branch Vase is individually cast in resin, producing its own distinct pattern of swirls and tonal variation. The two openings allow for varied arrangements — a single generous stem, two separate posies, or a mix of foliage that suggests natural growth. Slight differences in casting and texture reflect the handmade nature of each piece.

Composition Handcrafted resin

Care Suitable for cold water and fresh flowers only. Hand wash in warm water. Resin may appear frosted after washing; restore sheen by rubbing with a drop of cooking oil. Strong and durable but should be treated like ceramic — not shock-absorbent and can break if dropped or knocked against a hard surface. Not fire resistant; do not use as a candleholder or ashtray.
